An easy-to-use application that converts video files into a number of formats, Video Convert Master has an amazingly powerful and extensive feature set. It supports many media formats, including MPEG, AVI, SVCD, and WMV, though this trial version has 5 min limitation. You get a lot of control over the files you're converting, including the ability to alter screen resolution, audio format, and frame rate. What's more, the program can easily perform batch conversions via drag-and-drop transfers into the main window. Our sole complaint has to do with the interface; we're unclear as to why the Options window only duplicates actions found on the main window, though this drawback is easily ignored. If you wish to transform video files into a variety of formats, it's unlikely you'll find a program more convenient than Video Convert Master.
